The Vitalized Water project is the first of several offered under the umbrella of “Water Tech”. The vitalization process is the foundation for all subsequent Water Tech related projects. This is a relatively simple and natural 3-step process which includes mineral exposure, vortexing and magnetization. After the water has been vitalized the effects can be measured as an increase in voltage, and a decrease in electrical resistance.
The method used to quantify the change in water’s electrical potential is called the “exclusion zone.” Gerald Pollock of the University of Washington discovered a very important property of water. He found that when light interacts with water, if there is some hydrophilic (water loving) surface available, the H₂O molecules along the hydrophilic surface change chemical composition to H₃O₂. Thousands of hexagonal layers of H₃O₂ form a gel-like liquid crystal. They form a mesh so complete that this layer excludes all particles - nothing but hydrogen and oxygen remain. The H₃O₂ exclusion zone can form up to 500 microns thick. That’s half a millimeter, which is visible to the naked eye. Very importantly, the H₃O₂ exclusion zone carries a negative charge, while the remaining “bulk” or amorphous H₂O carries a positive charge.
The image below shows a hydrophilic material called Nafion submerged in water. Microspheres - microscopic suspended particles - were added to the water. They look like tiny snowflakes under the microscope. Initially these microspheres are more or less evenly dispersed throughout the vial of water. When the light is turned on the microspheres are pushed away from the surface of the Nafion tube, inside and outside the tube. The H₃O₂ exclusion zone water creates a pure water only zone of negative charge, while the remaining H₂O - carrying a positive charge - now has an increased number of microspheres.
When the H₃O₂ water in the clear exclusion zone areas is extracted, it is free from microspheres. Small scale prototype devices have successfully filtered both fresh and ocean water, implying clean drinking water can be obtained using this method - the primary energy source being sunlight.
Three generations of water vitalizing devices have been built over the past several years. As each version improves, the water voltage is increased.
When this vitalized water is fed to plants there is a direct increase in plant biomass and nutrient density.
We did a side-by-side outdoor garden comparison - eight raised beds of vitalized water fed vegetables, and eight raised beds of “control” water (un-vitalized). Other than the water used, all raised beds and environmental conditions were identical, including down to the number of seeds planted. Below are a few photos taken from the garden.
